This is 40…. Today is the start of a new chapter, a new decade, and who knew, even a year ago, that I’d feel as grounded, safe and settled in my own body, Self and life as I do. Made redundant, floundering as to who I am without my job and generally wandering aimlessly through life, last years tower moment brought me back to myself at warp speed and as hard and harsh as it felt, I see the energy was right to bring me home.

The journey back to self is a life long one from birth where we spend the first however many decades being shaped and moulded by first our parents, then the people closest to us - friends etc - then the society led search for love and coupledom and parenting, then of course mix in a need to make money, feel successful at SOMETHING, and in amongst all that (for me at least) mental health ups and downs from very young (OCD, intrusive thoughts, depression etc), we lose our SELF…

…what did we want, who were we before all of those years of people, and external validation and demand upon our soul

But here I am, mid life (apparently!) and I get it now when people say they’d never want to be in their 20s again… 😅 the strength that comes from time and living and experience and a bucket load of healing…

Keep focussing on your life and what you want from it… don’t lose yourself in what you do or what you have… the magic comes from what’s inside

Keep looking inward to keep going forward with strength and power you never knew you had
